Free UGC script and brief template
Plan a short product video with an opening, a clear demonstration and one next step. Fill in this template, copy the draft and adapt it to your own voice.
Your entries stay in this page while it is open. They are not uploaded or saved. This is a structured template, not an AI writing service.
Your working draft
Read it aloud, replace any awkward wording and verify every product claim before filming.
A UGC script example
This fictional desk organiser example uses a problem, a demonstration and a call to action. It makes no customer-experience claim.
- Opening: “Charging cables keep slipping behind your desk?” Show a loose cable beside a desk.
- Demonstration: “This organiser holds three cables along the edge.” Show the actual product doing that job.
- Next step: “See the sizes and colours.” Hold a clear product shot while the viewer reads the destination.
What belongs in a UGC brief?
Give a creator or editor the audience, approved product facts, source assets, desired action and destination format. Add your delivery date, review process and any agreed usage terms separately. A clear brief makes the first draft easier to review.
Before recording or generating a video
- Use visuals and music you have permission to use.
- Keep the wording consistent with what the product actually does.
- Do not give an AI presenter a made-up customer experience.
- Check pronunciation, captions, product details and the ending in the exported file.
Next, follow the AI UGC workflow, compare Creatify and HeyGen for a generated draft, or explore Descript and OpusClip for existing footage.
